Kokeshi Tsubakigoyomi (L)

Kokeshi, made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. His name in Japanese means "season of the camellias" and in fact on his kimono, left in natural wood color, red camellia flowers have been engraved. For the realization of this kokeshi Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) was used for the face and chestnut wood for the body and the helmet. The kokeshi is 31cm tall and 10cm in diameter. It is accompanied by a wooden plaque, with his name, the name and the stamp of the artist who made it and the original packaging is included, stamped and signed by Usaburo.
